RARE! LATE 1950's / EARLY 1960's FINISHED Vintage BUCILLA Santa's Engine Kiddie Christmas Stocking From Kit #8239 Jeweled Sequins Santa Claus Stocking



This stocking is 17 inches in length (measured diagonally)



Just a super duper rare find!! Kits from the late 1950's and 1960's are exceptionally hard to find and usually have four digit kit numbers. I am pretty certain this one was in the McCalls Needlework Magazine back in the day!



This the FIRST ONE I have ever seen in person that was completed and it is just fantastic!



You are buying a VINTAGE stocking - I do not know if it has been used (I am assuming so). It will not be exactly like the Bucilla Stocking being made today (personally I like from 1990's and back). It is fabulous shape, with even stitching, even spacing and alignment of the sequins. It has 2 tiny spots of slight color change (about 1/2 the size of a grain of rice) on the upper top inside portion of the stocking. I took pics of it (it's really hard to see) please see all pics before purchase. I am mentioning for accuracy, I do not think it detracts from the stocking at all and could probably be carefully removed with a little spot cleaning.



Selling truly vintage stockings make me a bit woozy - I want folks to know EXACTLY what they are getting - and relay all details to the best of my ability.
